Will my treatment hurt?Anti-Wrinkle injections are relatively painless and the process is over quite quickly. We use a very fine needle to minimise discomfort and all of our Anti-Wrinkle is reconstituted with preserved saline rather than regular sodium chloride which contains benzyl alcohol, which can significantly decrease the discomfort of the injections. All of the fillers, we use contain an anaesthetic agent called Lignocaine, so after the first injection the area will feel much more comfortable. For Lip Filler treatments, we use a compounded topical numbing cream and allow it to sit for a minimum of 10-15 minutes prior to beginning treatment.

How long will my treatment last?Anti-Wrinkle treatments usually last 3-5 months; depending on the muscle tone of your face and your metabolism. Dermal Fillers can last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years +. Over time, your body will reabsorb the hyaluronic acid filler material. Factors that can affect the longevity of dermal fillers can include; Type of filler used Area treated Individual metabolism Lifestyle habits such as smoking or excessive sun exposure

What are the potential side effects and complications? As with all treatments administered via injection, it is normal to experience tenderness, pressure, inflammation and bruising. Redness, itching and swelling are also very normal and not of concern. With Dermal Fillers, a very rare but serious complication known as a vascular occlusion could potentially occur. This is where filler enters a blood vessel or artery, completely or partially blocking the blood flow. Your registered nurse and prescribing doctor will discuss with you upon consultation potential indications and signs to look out for.
